Well, I participated in the first ever Craft-In at the Drive-In Craft Fair, unfortunately for me, it wasn’t too great. The show was a lot of fun, and there were some awesome vendors, but I think some of my products were a little too specific. Everyone that came by the booth kept picking up my roving and asking, “Oh, is this yarn?” ^_^ I politely replied, “No, but you can turn it into yarn.” They expressed how they could never be able to do that, and set it down and walked away. ~_~ But, that doesn’t mean that if I have the right audience, I can’t do another show! So bring on the Fiber Fairs!
Anyways, here are some pictures of the show. My boyfriend did a great job with the photos, as usual! ^_^ If you see any items that you absolutely can’t live without, check out these shops to find them! Melissa’s Kre8tions and Spinning Sisters

Wow! So much to catch up on! I really would like to start taking better care of my blog. It really is a huge part of what I want to be doing and it’s a great tool to utilize while I can. There have been many, many crazy things going on right now, and among them was my very first Craft Show! ^_^
Here are a few of the highlights and downfalls. . . Highlight number one, it was my first one and I thought I was as prepared as I could be, aside from a lack of tables and displays. Downfalls. . . I only sold two items, to a relative, which covered my booth cost, the soap that I bought from my neighboring booth, and I only made it out of the show with ten dollars in my pocket. Hey, at least I left with money, right? ^_^ So here are a few pictures to show, I hope you enjoy them.
Oh, by the way, if you are in Oregon, I will be at the Craft-In on 99W in Newberg selling my hand sewn items along with some hand dyed roving. Say hi, won’t you? ^_^

First off, I started school. It’s completely online and I will graduate with a BS with a Small Business Management concentration in the Winter of 2010. That’s exciting! ^_^
Next, I was spinning like a madwoman before Christmas with my Spinning Sisters to get some gifts finished, and also to promote our side business, Spinning Sisters. It’s an Etsy shop where we sell hand dyed spinning fibers and homespun yarns. *I’m not plugging anything. . . ^_^* So, don’t be afraid to give a little click to the link, which is just about every other word in this paragraph.
Oh, and don’t forget about my own personal site. It’s still a work in progress, but hopefully I will have some reusable shopping totes, hand sewn by me of course, and some more fibery goodness soon.
Now then, on to more wonderful stuff. I have been personally invited by Jess of Phat Fiber to join her in her quest of sample collection for the oh so wonderful Phat Fiber Sampler Box! What is this you may ask? Well, for a better detailed description, you may click here, which will take you to her blog. But if you click here, you will go to the shop where these boxes will be on sale! HURRY! There are a very limited amount each month! And you wouldn’t want to miss out on getting a box with MY stuff in it, would you?!?! ^_^ No plugs here. . .nope.
So, without further ado, here are some of my samples that will be in February’s box! ^_^ Enjoy!

And so my fellow blogites, I must retire to bed. But until next time, good dyeings, good yarnings, and good night.
