Love Notes Sketch Copper Inspired

I recently discovered two amazing challenges that I’m excited to participate in for the first time! I’ve used pieces from the January 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit to create this fun alternate Valentines Day Card. It has beautiful copper accents on a fun Flirty Flamingo water-colored and embossed background.

The first portion of this card was inspired by The Paper Players’ Clean & Simple Challenge: Love Notes #PP377 I loved all the different challenge cards the other crafters came up with and am excited to submit my first challenge card with them. Learn more by clicking the image below.

I’m also excited to submit my first challenge with the Global Design Project. They had a sketch challenge this week, #GDP122 I really liked this sketch, and knew I wanted to incorporate my Paper Pumpkin pieces with this. Learn more about their challenges by clicking on the image below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my project! I hope you enjoyed, and be sure to watch my coordinating video tutorial to see how mine came together.

  1. Very nice card. I like challenges. I follow the second challenge. I didn’t know about the first one. I really like the copper foil. I hope I have some. The copper would be great for Valentine cards. Thanks for the post.

  2. I love the way you’ve softly coloured the embossed strip. It makes both a colour and textural contrast with the rest of the cluster. Black and copper – so lovely together. Great card! Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week.

  3. Welcome to The Paper Players – so great that you are playing along this week! I love the contrast of the black and copper with the watercoloured embossed background – very pretty. Thanks for joining my challenge over at The Paper Players this week – hope to see you in the gallery again soon!

    1. Thank you, Joanne! I’m very excited to be taking part in your challenge! It’s my first and I know it won’t be my last. Love what you guys are doing and think it’s fantastic to interact with so many lovely, talented artists in these challenges! 🙂
